SWANA Northern California Gold Rush Chapter
Welcome to the Northern California Gold Rush Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA)! The Gold Rush Chapter has over 400 members representing a wide array of solid waste management professionals in both the public and private sectors.
MOLO Certification Event
The Gold Rush Chapter hosted a successful MOLO certification event in Lodi. Thirty-three solid waste professionals participated. Manager of Landfill Operations is SWANA's flagship certification course.
Thanks to longtime SWANA members James Moore and John Costa for instructing and to San Joaquin County for hosting the facility tour component of the class.

The City of Watsonville will be hosting this meeting and Salinas Valley Solid Waste Authority has offered to sponsor our lunch. There will also be a tour of the City of Watsonville Wastewater Recycling Plant and LEED Green Building following the meeting, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
