Truck Road-E-O

The Northern California Chapter Truck Road-E-O began in 1982 with the purpose of giving recognition to the many quality and skilled collection drivers & mechanics, in the field of Solid Waste. In a spirited competition, with approximately 60 drivers going through seven (7) different types of stations, in five (5) different types of vehicles (Rear loaders, Side loaders, Roll-off, Front-end loaders and Transfer tractor/trailers), contestants are challenged against the top drivers in the Northern California region. The mechanics competition starts off with a written test and then is challenged in finding solutions to an improper running vehicle. Driver hats (with the event logo) and a free lunch are offered to all contestants. At the end of the day, an award ceremony is held presenting the top contestants with trophies and prize monies.
Family and friends show up at the Stanislaus Fair grounds each year to cheer
their favorites on. Entertainment for kids and food is offered to all. Don’t
miss the next event, it is a great time had by all
