City of Santa Barbara Invites Applicants for Environmental Services Manager.
The Environmental Services Manager is a newly created position to oversee
the operations of the Environmental Services Division. The duties will
include providing oversight to staff in the development and implementation
of a variety of new programs and initiatives designed to increase diversion
of municipal solid waste from the county landfill; contract negotiations
with the City's two refuse haulers; participating in regional projects
and efforts designed to promote more efficient and effective solid waste
management programs throughout the County; and providing oversight and
direction to staff on a number of ongoing recycling programs.
Deadline: 5:30 p.m. August 28, 2008
Salary: $93,267.20 - $113,367.02 annually
