Membership Classifications:

Regular Member
An individual who is employed by a City/Township, State, County, Municipality, Government, or University.

Corporate Member (Private Sector)
You are considered eligible for Corporate/Sustaining Membership if you work for a private company or organization with an annual revenue of greater than $10 million per year and more than five (5) employees.

Small Business Member
Small hauler - Any independent solid-waste hauling company with annual gross revenue of less than $10 million; Small Consultant - Any independent consultant for municipal solid waste practices with five (5) or fewer full-time employees; or small distributor - any distributorship with (10) or fewer employees.

Student Member
Student must provide SWANA with a copy of their current class schedule.

Retired Member
An individual who has retired from service (ceased full-time employment) in the field of solid waste management.
